Connecting results to real opportunities
Unnect is a technology company based in Zimbabwe. We build Student Pathfinder, a tool that takes the O-Level and A-Level results a school already holds and shows each student which universities, colleges, vocational programmes and scholarships they qualify for, and what grade would bring the next option within reach. We also connect students, tutors, lecturers and scholarship providers across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and the wider SADC region.
What we do
Student Pathfinder reads a student's academic results and checks them against the eligibility rules of university, college and vocational programmes and scholarships. Every match explains whether the student qualifies now, or the exact result that would bring an opportunity within reach. The school remains the access point: a teacher or administrator submits results each term and relays matches back to students, so no personal device or data bundle is required for a student to benefit.
Who we serve
Students get a realistic picture of their options instead of a list of unread brochures. Teachers and schools gain a way to support every learner at once. Tutors and lecturers can be connected to the subjects and pathways students actually need. Scholarship providers and institutions reach learners who already meet their requirements, without collecting more personal data than necessary.
Where we work
The platform is built with Zimbabwe as its first live pilot and is designed for the wider SADC region, including South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania and the other member states. Our principles
We use the minimum student information needed to match results to opportunities, and we do not sell student data. Formal eligibility is always determined by the institution, not by our matching engine or its AI guidance. Listing or sponsorship never changes how opportunities are ranked for a student.
