About this programme

Honours bachelor's degree: a full undergraduate degree. MUAST's 4 to 5 year degrees include a 1-year attachment, from which diploma holders may be exempted. Studies how food is processed, preserved and kept safe, from raw produce to packaged products.

What you will study

Food chemistry and microbiology, processing and preservation technology, food safety and quality assurance, packaging, product development, food engineering and a project. Includes a 1-year attachment.
