About this programme

Honours bachelor's degree: a full undergraduate degree. MUAST's 4 to 5 year degrees include a 1-year attachment, from which diploma holders may be exempted. Studies how to breed, feed and manage farm animals for food and income.

What you will study

Animal nutrition, breeding and genetics, animal physiology and health, production of cattle, small stock and poultry, pasture management, livestock marketing, research methods and a project. Includes a 1-year attachment.
