About this programme

Turns farm produce into safe, nutritious and marketable food. The degree covers the science behind processing, preservation and quality control, and prepares graduates for a food industry that needs people who understand both chemistry and production lines.

What you will study

Food chemistry and microbiology, food processing and engineering, food safety and quality assurance, nutrition, product development, packaging, and a research project. Links with crop-processing work at the Agro-Industrial Park.
